NAMASANKEERTANAM: Udaiyalur Dr K Kalyanaraman
Namasankirtanam is a devotional practice in Hinduism that involves the congregational singing or chanting of the divine names (nama) of God (sankirtana). It is considered one of the most powerful and effective means of attaining spiritual upliftment and liberation (moksha). The form of Congregational Singing, which is performing in groups, devotees come together to chant or sing the names of God collectively, the group dynamic creates a powerful spiritual atmosphere, amplifying the devotional fervor and energy of the participants.
In this masterclass, Shri Kalyanaraman teaches a few compositions in the bhajana sampradaya tradition. Full audio renditions of all songs are also included for reference in this package. The following songs were taught in this session.
